- Pay-per-click advertising - Search engines offer advertising services in which a link to your website may appear on the top or on the right side portion of the search engines SERPs based on certain keywords that a potential buyer may use on their search engines. Advertisers usually bid on these keywords and the highest bidder takes the top spot of their "sponsored links" portion of the SERPs, and are charged by the search engines by the amount of people who click on these links.
- Use other advertising media - Just because your goal is to get people to your site via the search engines doesn't mean that you would concentrate efforts on the internet alone. Print, radio and tv ads can just be as effective in getting people to go to your website, if not more so. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money if you're planning on a nationwide or global campaign.
Good SEO marketing techniques alone may get your pages top rankings in the SERPs,
but it doesn't hurt to have other ways to get your internet traffic. Some ways may
cost you a lot, while some may not cost you anything. Depending on your own goals
